Get out your paint! This week I challenge you to create something with canvas. Use any size canvas and any combination of supplies.
Canvas is such a flexible base for a project...you can make a layout on canvas to display, create a collage with the tidbits you've been collecting, or even make a mini book with 2 small canvases.
Love texture? Then this is the perfect challenge for you. Add texture gel to your paint like I did, or use gesso. You can add whatever you'd like to the mix…stamps, scrap paper, book pages, buttons, chipboard, photos, ribbons, bling.
I created this little 8x8 canvas to hang near my shelves of art supplies. I love the quote. It was true when I was 2 ½ years old, as shown in the photo, and it's still true now.
"Between the worlds of men and make believe I can be found."
To hang it I attached ribbon with safety pins right through the canvas.
